This week we’re joining in the Ultimate Blog Party, a mega-event hosted by 5 Minutes for Mom. We have just recently relaunched ParisandJohn.com, a site we’ve had since 1998 (which, in Internet years, is a lifetime ago…)
We’ve been professional writers for 20 years, specializing in travel and guidebook writing. Today, though, our writing efforts are closer to home; we run both DogTipper.com and CatTipper.com about life with your pets.
For ParisandJohn.com, we wanted to focus on our own life; we live in an owner-built home out in the country, surrounded by a nature preserve. It’s a life beyond the reach of cable or city utilities and we just love it.

On Parisand John.com, we’re focusing on country living and improving your home (but on a budget). Watch for DIY projects, product reviews and giveaways, all aimed at rural residents.
