Cayman Islands

A favorite with business travelers (Grand Cayman is the fifth largest financial center in the world), the atmosphere here is safe, secure and stable.

Unlike most of the Caribbean, the Cayman Islands boast a stronger economy than the US, so plan to spend some money on this destination. That's not to say that bargains can't be found, but plan to do a little extra homework if you're on a budget.

Grand Cayman is a diver's paradise with visibility over 100 feet. Even if you don't dive, you can enjoy a look at sea creatures at Stingray City where vacationers don snorkel gear and swim with stingrays.
Or consider an island tour including the Queen Elizabeth Botanic Park, filled with native trees and wild orchids, the world's only Turtle Farm where you can view green sea turtles as large as 600 pounds, and Hell, a town where tourists like to have their cards postmarked.

If you're looking for real getaway, head to the Sister Islands: Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. These islands are true hideaways and best known for their diving, fishing, and opportunities for quiet adventure. Daily flights connect the Sister Islands with Grand Cayman and you can explore these destinations as a day trip.
