If you've purchased a Caribbean guidebook, you just might be familiar with our byline: Paris Permenter & John Bigley. We've written nearly 30 guidebooks to this region and our byline has appeared in books published by Fodor's, Hunter Publishing, Open Road, and many others.

We've written guides to the islands aimed at luxury travelers, adventure travelers, honeymooners, families, foodies, and even pilots. We've also authored over 1500 articles to these islands for a variety of magazines and newspapers around the country.

We travel to the Caribbean every four to six weeks to update our material. When we're not on the road, we make our home base near Austin, Texas.
